Bella M. (Arsenault) Begin, 97, of Manchester, NH, died Friday,
November 27, 2009 in the Maple Leaf Health Care Center in Manchester. She was the wife of the late Henry J. Begin.
Born in Salem, MA the daughter of the late Jean and Philomene
(Beliveau) Arsenault, Bella was a graduate of Ste. Anne’s Grammar School and St. Joseph High
School in Salem. Mrs. Begin
lived in Florida for many years before moving to Manchester, NH.
She is survived by two sons, Robert Begin and his wife Noreen of
Canton, MA, and Raymond Begin of Spring hill, FL, three daughters, Jeanne
Chartier and her husband Carl of Manchester, NH, Sandra Sullivan and her
husband Terrance of Hampton, NH, and Paulette Harper and her husband David of
N. Berwick, ME, a daughter-in-law Alice Gentili of Upton, MA, 12 grandchildren,
18 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild, three sisters, Terry
Lorette and her husband Bill, Alice Graf, and Janet Green, and several nieces
and nephews. Mrs. Begin is predeceased
by a son, Richard Begin, and was the sister of the late Rita Voyer, Margaret
Varney, and Arthur, Edmond and Emile Arsenault.
Her
funeral will be held from the Berube and Sons Funeral Home, 191 Lafayette St. (Rt.1A/114) Salem, MA Tuesday at 8 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in Ste. Anne Church,
290 Jefferson Ave. Salem, MA at 9 a.m. Relatives
and friends are invited. Burial will be
in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem, MA. Visiting hours are Monday from 4-8 p.m.
