Charles E. “Buddy” Gagnon, 77, of Salem, died Saturday morning in Salem Hospital.
He was the wife of Josephine (Guillerne) Gagnon with whom he shared 50
years of marriage.
Charles was born in Salem the son of the late Charles E. and
Madeline (Cardow) Gagnon, Sr. He was
educated in Salem schools and had been a resident of Salem most of his life. Mr. Gagnon joined the U.S. Air Force and was
a Korean War Veteran.

Josephine, his daughter Sandra Dailey and her husband Glen of Salem, his son
Nelson Gagnon and his wife Allison of Hilo, HI, one brother, Edward Gagnon and
his wife Linda of Salem, three sisters, Joanne Labrecque and her husband
Norman, Claudette Kluge and her husband Bradford, all of Salem, and Pauline
Richard of Englewood, FL, three grandchildren, Jason M. Dailey, Matthew and
Derek Gagnon, and many nieces and nephews.
Charles was also the brother of the late Paul Gagnon.
His funeral will be held from the Berube and Sons
Funeral Home, 191 Lafayette St. (Rt. 1A/114) Salem, Wednesday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in the Immaculate Conception Church, Hawthorne Blvd. Salem at 10. Relatives and friends are
invited. Visiting hours are Tuesday from
2-4 and 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to
