Claudia Russell Maine, 67, of Salem, died Thursday morning March 24, 2011 in Salem Hospital.
Born in Sheldon, Vermont, Claudia was the daughter of Ruby (Greenwood) and the late Hugh Russell of Vermont. She was a
graduate of Worcester Memorial Hospital Nursing School and worked as delivery nurse for much of her
career. Claudia lived in Stoneham for many years while raising her children. She and her family moved to Melrose for 12 years before moving to Salem six years ago.
Along with her mother, Ruby Russell, Claudia is survived by her two
daughters, Pamela Maine of Salem
and Teri Maine of Beverly, a sister, Ellen Russell, brothers, Norman Russell, and
Sidney Russell and his wife Leanna, and her nephew Rob.
Relatives
and friends are invited to a funeral Mass in Ste. Anne's Church, Jefferson Ave. Salem, Monday at 9 a.m. Burial
will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may
be made to World Vision.
