U.S. Army WWII Veteran

J. Francis LeBrun, 91, of Salem, died April 9, 2011 in Grosvenor Park Nursing in Salem. He was the husband of Carol Quinn LeBrun.

 

Mr. LeBrun was born in Salem the son of the late Harry and Yvonne (Demers) LeBrun. He had been employed for over 38 years as a tour bus driver for the former Michaud Bus Line. Francis was also associated with his father's business, Harry LeBrun Tailors and Tuxedo Rentals in Salem. Francis was a World War II Army Veteran. He was a former member of the Palmer's Cove Yacht Club, the Franco-American Club of Beverly, the Salem Council on Aging, and the AARP.

 

Surviving in addition to his wife are one daughter, Diane Adloff and her husband Larry of Olmstead Township, OH, three grandchildren; Eric and Kristie Adloff, and Lynn Hunter, six great-grandchildren, one sister, Priscilla Michaud of Salem, and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Clarence, Paul, Jean, and George LeBrun, and Stella Norris.

 

A private funeral service will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank the staff at Grosvenor Park as well as the Nurses from Hospice of the North Shore for the wonderful care and affection shown to Francis.
