Gladys (Morris) Kalivas, 85, of Danvers, died Friday morning, September 23, 2011 in the Kaplan Family Hospice House, Danvers. She was the wife of the late Demostenes Kalivas.


Born in Marblehead the daughter of the late Eugene and Grace (Hoag) Morris, Gladys was educated in Marblehead schools. She lived most of her life in Beverly before moving to Danvers in recent years.


Gladys is survived by her children; Richard Berube and his wife Sandra of Louisiana, Victor Berube of Beverly, Roger Berube of Danvers, Raymond Berube of Danvers, Thomas Berube and his wife Sheri of Beverly, Lori Berube of Peabody, Denise Berube of Danvers, and Jeannette Berube of W. Newbury, a sister, Dorothy of Lynn, 24 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Gladys was predeceased by her son Robert Berube and her first husband Richard Berube.


Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation period in the Berube and Sons Funeral Home 191 Lafayette St (Rt.1A/114) Salem, Sunday from 1-4 pm. Burial will be private.
