Henry R. Dragon, 70, of Essex Street, Salem, died Sunday morning,
April 4, 2010 in Salem Hospital.
Henry was born in Salem, Jan.
30, 1940, the son of the late Lionel Howard and Corrine (Simard) Dragon.
A graduate of St. Joseph's Schools, Henry was a lifelong resident of
Salem and was often referred to by friends as the "Mayor of Salem." Mr.
Dragon was a Manager for Travel Time Transportation and also worked for
his son Peter at the Engine House Restaurant in Salem.
He
is survived by four daughters, Lisa Dragon of Illinois, Heidi Dragon of
Salem, Michelle Worrall and her husband Michael of Florida, and Jill
Dragon of California; one son, Peter Dragon and his wife Kendra of
Salem; three grandchildren, Travis Duclow, and Nathan and Chloe Dragon; a
sister, Joanne St.Pierre of Salem; and a brother, Harvey Dragon of
Salem; and several nieces and nephews. Henry was the brother of the late
Richard Dragon, Mary Leason and Corrine Hidler.
ARRANGEMENTS:
Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours in the Berube and
Sons Funeral Home, 191 Lafayette St. (Route 1A/114), Salem, Thursday
from 3 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made
