Irene (Neve) Bourgault Courmier, 95, of Plaistow, NH, formerly of Salem, died Tuesday in the Oxford Nursing
Home in Haverhill. She was the wife of
the late Leonard Cormier and also the late Rene Bourgault.
Irene was born in Salem, the daughter of the late Pierre
and Marie (Englehardt) Neve. She had
been a resident of Salem for over seventy years living in Beverly for ten years and later she moved
to Plaistow, NH to live with her daughter
Jeanne. She loved to spend time with her
family and enjoyed playing cards. For years she enjoyed knitting.
Surviving are one daughter, Jeanne Marcinkowski of
Plaistow, NH, one son, John Bourgault and his wife Carol Ann of Mesa AZ, four
grandchildren; Laurie MacCuish, Donna
Desjardins, Terri Furnari and Robert Marcinkowski, six great-grandchildren, and
nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held from the Berube and Sons
Funeral Home, 191 Lafayette St (Rt. 1A/114) Salem, Monday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in Ste. Anne Church, Jefferson Ave. Salem, celebrated by her nephew the Rev. Ronald Bourgault. Visiting hours are Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. Relatives and friends are
invited. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions
may be made to Beacon Hospice, 350 Main St. Haverhill, MA 01830.
