Irene T. (Pelletier) Kingman, of Salem, died Monday, March 15, 2010
in the loving care and gentle hands of the staff at Lafayette Nursing
Home in Marblehead. She was the wife of the late Arthur T. Kingman.
Born
in Salem, the daughter of the late Joseph and Marianna (Poussard)
Pelletier, Irene worked for years at CBS Hytron in Salem and later for
the Vincent's Potato Chip Company. Mrs. Kingman was a member of Les
Dames de la Ste. Famille of the former St. Joseph's Parish, Salem.
She
leaves a daughter, Gail Hall and her husband Gerard of Lynn; a son,
Raymond and his wife Francis of Northborough; five grandchildren,
Matthew Kingman of Northborough, Kimberly Mullen and her husband
Christopher of Shrewsbury, Sarah Richardson and her husband Howard of
Northborough, Kenneth Hall and his wife Lori of Springfield, and Thomas
Hall and his wife Christine of Manchester, N.H.; eight
great-grandchildren, Claire and Cameron Mullen, Zachary Provencal, and
Amy, Stephen, Andrew, Abigail, and Madison Hall; two nieces, Arlene and
her husband Steve Hilburg of Tucson, Ariz., and Shirley and her husband
Ernie White of Ossipee, N.H. Irene was predeceased by her brother, Leo
Pelletier.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to
a funeral Mass, Thursday at 10 a.m. in the St. James Chapel, Federal
Street, Salem. There are no visiting hours. Burial will follow in St.
Mary's Cemetery, Salem. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to
the Lafayette Nursing Home Resident's Fund, 25 Lafayette St.,
Marblehead, MA 01945.
