MARBLEHEAD — June E. (Butler) Birmingham, 84, of Marblehead, died
Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at the Grosvenor Park Nursing Home, Salem. She was the wife of Walter P. Brimingham to whom she had been married to for over 63 years.
Born
in Lynn, the daughter of the late Warren and Florence (Lavoie) Butler;
June and her husband Walter have been residents of Marblehead for over
53 years.
Mrs. Birmingham was a genealogist. She was a member
and a descendant of The Ancient and Honorable Artillery Co., a member
of the Crown of Charlemagne; she belonged to the Baronial Order of
Magna Charta, and was also a member of the Daughters of the American
Revolution.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons,
Michael Birmingham and his wife Lynn of Marietta, Ga. and Brian
Birmingham and his wife Nancy of Belchertown; two daughters, Linda
Sorembe of Marblehead, and Lorna Scullin and her husband John of
Georgetown; 10 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral arrangements are private and are under the direction of the Berube and Sons Funeral Home of Salem.
