Lea Yvonne (LeBlanc) Begin, 77, formerly of Salem, died Saturday, March 19, 2011 in Devereaux Nursing Home, Marblehead.
Born in Canada, Lea was the daughter of the late
Ferdinand and Virginia (Richard) LeBlanc. Lea worked for many years as a
private home nurse for the Ward Family in Swampscott. She had been a
resident of Salem for over 20 years before moving to Lynn a few years
ago.
She is survived by a daughter, Jean Chakoutis of
Peabody; three grandchildren, Daniel Begin, Scott and Ricky Chakoutis;
four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Alcide LeBlanc and his wife Ann
Marie of Canada, and Alyre LeBlanc and his wife Rhea of California; four
sisters, Elda Major of Somerville, Jeanne Jordan of Marblehead,
Bernadette Oak of Lynn, and Marie Paula Black of Beverly; and several
nieces and nephews. Lea was predeceased by six other brothers and
sisters, and her son, Paul Begin, who passed away Jan. 3, 2010.
The family would like to thank the staff at Devereaux Nursing Home for their care and support.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to a
graveside service for both Lea and Paul Begin in the Annunciation
Cemetery, Hobart Street, Danvers, Saturday, April 2, 2011 at 10:30 a.m
