Lucien H. “Butch” Pelletier, 59, died Tuesday
evening, April 7, 2009 in Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Boston with his family by his side.
Born in Salem, Lucien was the son of the late
Lucien and Gertrude (Soucy) Pelletier.
He was the beloved husband of the late Isabell Pelletier. Butch was a graduate of Salem High School and Franklin Institute. Butch was a member of the Polish Club of
Danvers and Danvers YMCA where he loved to swim.
Butch was a loving father to his daughter, Lisa
Beaulieu and her husband Stephen of Merrimac, MA, and his son Michael Pelletier
and his wife Jill of Lynn, MA. He was
the proud grandfather of Ben and Matthew Beaulieu and Grace and Seth
Pelletier. He is also survived by his
brother, Pat Pelletier and his wife Karen of Georgetown, and his sister, Anne
Gauthier and her husband Kenneth of Middleton, along with many nieces and
nephews. He was a friend to many, and the
lives he touched were better for having known him.
His funeral will be held from the Berube and Sons
Funeral Home, 191 Lafayette St. (Rt.1A/114) Salem, MA, Tuesday at 8 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at Saint Anne’s Church, Jefferson Ave. Salem at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited. The burial will be private. Visiting hours are Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be
