Mary T. (Manning) Perry, 83, of Brooksby
Village, Peabody, died Saturday, Dec. 4, 2010 in Peabody. She was the wife of the late Clifford A. Perry.
Born in Peabody, the daughter of the late William and Delia (McDermott)
Manning, Mary was a graduate of St. John’s Grammar and High Schools and was a
member of the CFM Club in Peabody. She
worked for New England Telephone as an operator for many years.
Mary is survived by a daughter, Maureen Jenkins and her husband Michael
of Amherst, MA, four sons; Robert Perry of Brooklyn, NY, Richard Perry of
Bradford, MA, Clifford A. Perry Jr. and his wife Jane of Wakefield, MA, and
Scott Perry and his wife Ann of Melrose, MA, two sisters; Dorothy O’Donnell of
Salem, and Genevieve Walsh of Peabody, ten grandchildren; Melissa, Kimberly,
Christopher, Scott, Emily, Nicholas, Daniel, Kathleen, Justin, and Brendon, one
great-grandchild, Sophia and many nieces and nephews. Mary was the sister of the late Marguerite
O’Shea and Ann Quinn.
Her funeral will be held from the Berube and Sons Funeral Home, 191
Lafayette St. (Rt. 1A/114) Salem, MA, Thursday at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral
Mass at St. John the Baptist Church, Peabody at 11 a.m.
Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are Wednesday 4-8 p.m. Memorial contributions may
