M. Juliette Turcotte, 95, of Brightview in Danvers,
formerly of Salem, died Saturday, May 29, 2010 in Marblehead.
Juliette was born in Newmarket, N.H., the daughter of
the late Arthur and Rose Delima (Lambert) Turcotte and was the foster
daughter of the late Moise and Marie (Lambert) Lavoie. She was a
resident of Salem most of her life, graduating from St. Joseph's Grammar
and St. Joseph's Academy in Salem. Miss. Turcotte retired in 1973 as
the Executive Secretary of the First Chief Judge of Probate Courts after
25 years of service.
A lifetime parishioner of the former St. Joseph's
Parish in Salem and a member of both the Ladies Sodality and the Notre
Dame Reine des Apotres of St. Joseph's Church, Juliette was a gentle and
caring woman and was loved by all who knew her.
She was the sister of the late Romeo Turcotte, Florence
Turcotte, Simone Beaulieu, Sr. Marie A Lavoie, SASV, Leo and Emile
Turcotte, Albert McCarthy, Henri, Rene, Emile, Zenon, Omer, and Philippe
Lavoie, Eva Carroll, Sr. Marguerite Turcotte, and Yvonne Lavoie, and
stepsister of Lucien and Raymond Geoffrion. Surviving her are many
nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral will be held from
the Berube and Sons Funeral Home, 191 Lafayette St (Route 1A/114)
Salem, Thursday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in Ste. Anne
Church, Salem at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Salem.
Relatives and friends are invited. Visitation will be in the funeral
home prior to the funeral Mass Thursday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.
