Nathalie "Nat" (Leveille) Harrington, 94, of Salem,
died Monday morning, April 19, 2010
in Grosvenor Park Nursing Home. She was
the wife of the late Salem Fire Captain Edward Harrington.
Mrs. Harrington was born in Orono,
ME, the daughter of the late Emile and
Claudia (Halde) Leveille and has been a resident of Salem
for most of her life. She had been
employed for many years at Parker Brothers in Salem
and also in the cafeteria at Salem State College.
She is survived by three sons; Edward Harrington and
his wife Doris of Salem, Salem Deputy Fire Chief Brian Harrington and his wife
Andrea of Beverly, and Michael Harrington and his wife Judy of Lynn, two
daughters; Margaret "Peggy" Quimby and her husband Frank of Middleton and Mary
Ellen Harrington of Beverly, ten grandchildren; Kelley, Ed, Tom, Kristen,
Stephen, Sean, Erin, and Patrick Harrington, Scott L'Italien and Deborah
Tetreault, sixteen great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. Nat was the sister of the late Geraldine "Gerry" Verrette, Clarence "Hank", Carlton "Carl", and Francis "Red" Leveille.
Nathalie's family would like to thank the staff at
the Grosvenor Park Nursing Home for the love, affection, and care shown to Nat
and her family over the years.
Her funeral will be held from
the Berube and Sons Funeral Home, 191 Lafayette St. (Rt.1A/114) Salem, Friday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in the Immaculate
Conception Church, Hawthorne Blvd. Salem at 10 a.m. Burial
will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may
be made to Hospice of the North Shore, 75 Sylvan St. Danvers, MA 01923.
