SALEM — Priscilla L. "Pat" Poirier, 73, of Salem, died Wednesday,
April 14, 2010 in NSMC, Salem Hospital. She was the wife of Stanley
Poirier of Salem.
Born in Salem, the daughter of Priscilla
(LeBrun) Michaud and the late George E. Michaud of Salem, Pat was a
graduate of the former Ste. Chretienne Grammar School in Salem, and
Salem High School.
She was a longtime communicant of Ste.
Anne's Church in Salem. Mrs. Poirier had been employed as a cost
accountant with Sylvania Electric, Boston Street, Salem.
Pat was
the mother of the late Stephen Poirier. She is survived, in addition to
her husband, Stanley and her mother, Priscilla, by her daughters, Judy
Poirier-Michaud of Beverly, and Suzanne M. Kouri and her husband Yanil
Kouri, M.D. of Lexington, and one son; Christopher Poirier and his wife
Jaine of Cranston, R.I., and John and Susanne Winslow, the surviving
wife of Stephen Poirier; eight grandchildren, Brian, Alissa, Stephanie,
Samantha, Susana, Yanil III, Garrett, and Charlotte; two
step-grandchildren, Ana and Cristy Kouri; two brothers, George Michaud
of Salem, and Douglas Michaud and his wife Elaine of Haverhill; one
sister, Linda Michaud Cutrell of Marblehead, and nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS:
Visiting hours are Saturday, April 17, 2010, from 2 to 6 p.m. in the
Berube and Sons Funeral Home, 191 Lafayette St. (Route 1A/114), Salem.
Relatives and friends are invited. A funeral Mass will be held Tuesday,
April 20, 2010 at 10 a.m. in Ste. Anne's Church, Jefferson Ave. Salem.
Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in
Priscilla's name to Partners Home Care Development Department, 800
Cummings Center, Suite 166s, Beverly, MA 01915.
