Sandra E. “Sandy” (Hunnell) James, 58, of Marblehead, died Monday
morning, November 15, 2010 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. She was the wife of Marblehead Cemetery
Superintendent, William H. James, with whom she shared over forty years of
marriage.
Born in Chelsea, MA,
Sandy was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Bertha (Perry) Hunnell. Sandra has lived in Marblehead over forty
years and had been employed as a home health caretaker for many years. She loved the company of her family and
enjoyed visiting lighthouses along the East Coast into Canada.
Surviving, in addition
to her husband are two daughters; Christine James of Haverhill and Stacy James
of Marblehead, one granddaughter Shanice James Jones of Marblehead, two sisters;
Marie Zullo and her husband Chris of Everett, and Janice Buonfiglio and her
husband John of Virginia Beach, VA, one brother, Larry Hunnell and his wife
Barbara of Lynn, three brothers-in-law; Frank, Bob, and Peter James, and many
nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends
are invited to a graveside service at Waterside Cemetery, West Shore Dr.,
Marblehead, MA, Friday at 1 p.m. In lieu
of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the North Shore, 75 Sylvan St.
Danvers, MA, 01923. Funeral arrangements
are through Berube and Sons Funeral Home, Salem.
