| SALEM — Theresa R. (Gagnon) Cloutier, 72, of Salem, died Wednesday morning, May 20, 2009. She was the wife of Frank Cloutier.
Theresa
was born in St. Adolphe, Manitoba, Canada the daughter of the late
Joseph and Josephine (Leclaire) Gagnon and had been resident of Salem
since she was very young. She graduated from St. Joseph's Grammar
School and St. Joseph's Academy in Salem.
Theresa loved her
family and was a devoted mother, wife and grandmother. She also enjoyed
her time spent playing Bingo and loved to cook.
Surviving in
addition to her husband of 53 years, Frank Cloutier, are their four
sons, Paul Cloutier and his wife Nancy of Peabody, Marc and his wife
Christina of Amesbury, John of Amesbury, and Bob and his wife Ann of
Salisbury; two daughters, Renee Bouchard and her husband Paul of
Peabody, and Diane Cloutier of Salem; 14 grandchildren; three brothers,
Ernest Gagnon and his wife Gerry of Vermont, John and his wife Cecile
of W. Newbury, and Leon and his wife Georgette of Salem; and many
nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Pete and Denis
Gagnon.
ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral will be held from the
Berube and Sons Funeral Home, 191 Lafayette St., Salem (Route 1A/114),
Monday at 10:30 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in Ste. Anne Church,
Jefferson Avenue, Salem at noon. Relatives and friends are invited.
Visiting hours are Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. Burial will be private. In
lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the North
Shore, 75 Sylvan St., Danvers, MA 01923.
