Virginia (Buyvid) Keller, 98, died Thursday,
October 16, 2008 at Blueberry Hill Nursing Home, Beverly. She was the wife of the late Frank W. Keller
who passed away in 1984.
Born in Saugus, MA the daughter of the late Alexander
and Stephania (Smeiskowski) Buyvid, Virginia lived in Salem and Hamilton most of her life working for many
years for Johnny Appleseed in Beverly.
Mrs. Keller loved to travel, and six months out of the year, she and her
husband would live in Florida.
Virginia also had fun playing Bingo and enjoyed holidays with her
family and friends. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by one son, Donald F. Keller of
Peabody, two daughters; Ann Garcelon and her husband Raymond of Beverly and
Lorraine Dickson and her husband Hugh of Beverly, seven grandchildren; Don
Keller, Judy Getchell, Mark and Todd Garcelon, Jodi Martin, and Chris and Eric
Doyle, seven great-grandchildren; Matthew and Amy Keller, Macy and Danielle
Getchell, Shawna and Sarah Martin, and Jenelle Santoro and several nieces and
nephews. Mrs. Keller is predeceased by a
sister, Ann Buyvid, and three brothers; Charlie, Chet and Fred Buyvid.
Her funeral will be held from the Berube and Sons
Funeral Home, 191 Lafayette St. (1A/114) Salem, Monday at 8 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in Ste. Anne Church, Jefferson Ave, Salem at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem. Relatives and
friends are invited.
