Our History

Thomas L. Berube began working with his father after returning from Korea, Vietnam, and the Army in 1964. A graduate of St. John's Prep in Danvers, Tom was a lifelong parishioner of St. Joseph's Church until it's closing in 2004. He was a lifetime member of the Franco American Club and AMVETS, Lynn, a longtime fourth degree member of the Knights of Columbus Veragua Council No. 76, Salem, and the V.F.W., Salem. He and his wife, Priscilla Berube, lived in Salem most of their lives and loved raising their family in this area.  Priscilla still lives in Salem.  Tom passed away October 11, 2014.

Rodrigue "Rudy" and his wife Ruth (O'Shea) Berube founded the business in 1940 and moved it to our current location in 1973. Rudy was an active parishioner of St. Joseph's Church in Salem and a member of many clubs, societies, and organizations.
